The narrow aisle forklift has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR models which are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various control handle and stance configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To greatly improve the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering could lessen battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort in order to decrease operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also called order pickers. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the load and the operator to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are generally rail or wire guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
