Established during the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company within the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide array of presses, forklifts, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
The business started crane production in 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
