Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their equipment have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and made such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being engineered and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
