End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machine and is common in the material handling business. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are quite similar to sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation atmospheres which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an ideal option for applications that require regular on and off access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
A lot of businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices could arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
The standard reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades additionally have a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without any problem, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
