Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
The audible devices such as motion alarms or back-up alarms produce sound that needs to be very loud to be heard above the noise which the forklift creates in the operating area.
The sound needs to be readily discernible from other audible devices or noises in the work setting. Sound must be readily distinguishable from other noise or audible devices within the work area. The audible device can end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; therefore, care should be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to determine which direction and distance it is coming from. Audible devices can occasionally get deactivated from both workers and operators because they could find them irritating. What's more, audible devices could also be objectionable to nearby residents.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: Operator enclosed cabs help to protect the operator from the elements. They utilize tempered glass in order to prevent injuries. Furthermore, these cabs feature an emergency exit through removing the window. Noise levels are reduced at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each and every specific application, the operator could choose the performance need. Moreover, it allows a supervisor to set the model's utmost performance for an operator who is just beginning to learn. Being able to adjust and reduce the maximum performance of the model enables a new operator to learn the operating features of the machinery in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is disabled, a supervisor is needed to activate and override the model. This encourages the operator to be certain to manage the machine in a more controlled manner.
Dual Rear View and Panoramic Mirrors: These specific mirrors help to assist the operator in observing the operating space behind the vehicle, and their tail swing area.
