The S-boom telescopic booms by Genie have been outfitted with a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight areas during industrial and construction applications. They are also recognized for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great drive speed and traction. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and could stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer easy, quick positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This unit could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were previously inaccessible by conventional jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature enables up and over reaching jobs to be done with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system that allows for precious time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms have to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be elevated fully simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing both productivity and efficiency.
