Linamar Corporation, referred to as LNR on the TSX, bought Skyjack during August 2002. Linamar is best known for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined components. Linamar's solid balance sheet offers Skyjack with long-term stability and increased strength overall. Skyjack presently has production plants within Hungary, the US and San Jose with support offices in Asia and Europe.

The company has lots of self-propelled scissor lifts in its lineup, with models which can work at heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader within the industry by offering machinery features which combined serviceability, durability, quality and service, making Skyjack scissor lifts known all around the world for product reliability. The current Boom lift model lineup of the company consists of telescopic booms. These models offer telescopic booms that feature work heights ranging from 45 to 71 feet.
